You are head over heels for this one. Now it’s time to make it official. Where do you even start? Trudy Gems can help!

STEP 1: Ring Size

First and most importantly, you want to make sure you know the ring size. A lady wants to show her ring off right away, so having the perfect fit keeps the ring secure on her finger.

It can be tricky to keep your proposal a surprise when you do not know her ring size. Reach out to her friends and ask if they might know. If your proposal is not a surprise, contact us for a complimentary ring sizer.

STEP 2: The Gem Type

Diamonds aren’t the only girl's best friend nowadays and diamonds can limit your budget. You may want to consider color gemstones for value and a lot of fun design options. Whichever gem you pick, make sure it provides some sort of meaning or uniqueness to you and your counterpart.

STEP 3: The Main Gem Shape

The shape brings the engagement ring design together.

The most iconic shapes to pick from are round, cushion, marquise, princess, oval, emerald, pear, radiant, and Asscher. Let's break 'em down!
